Hi, I'm Alex

I build and maintain the systems that keep people connected — from enterprise infrastructure and authentication services to the tools that 80,000+ students and staff rely on every day.

Systems thinker,
infrastructure builder.

I'm an early-career IT professional with a passion for the systems and infrastructure that power modern institutions. I care about reliability, correctness, and building things that scale to real users.

At UW–Madison's Division of Information Technology, I work as a Student System Administrator supporting campus-wide infrastructure, authentication services, and enterprise operations. I also lead hiring and mentorship for a team of 75+ student Help Desk agents.

Outside of work, I run my own Linux server, practice subnetting and firewall configuration, and think carefully about trust boundaries and least-privilege design.
